Mom and Dad took Piper and me to the zoo on Sunday. We had a great time. It was really hot and there were so many people we had to wait in line sometimes. The best thing we saw was the polar bears. Last time we went to the zoo, the polar bears were so lazy. All they did was lie around all day long. This time one of the bears was swimming all around the big pool. We stood right next to the glass and the polar bear put his giant paw right on the window. It was scary. But it was fun too.
It was so hot we stopped to rest under some roofs and piper got to eat ice cream. Mom says I am too young for that. And I drank out of a water bottle for the first time. It was cold water.
We saw meerkats too, and baboons, and giraffes, and zebras. It was a great day. Then we got to ride on a giant Zebra bus back to our car. I was really hungry and tired, but mommy forgot to bring my bottle so I had to wait until I got home. I was not happy. But then when we got home I got a big bottle and went to sleep.
